Through this retreat, we pray to create a time and space where the youth can encounter God, go deeper in their relationship with Him, and overflow in their faith and love for God and others!
Richard Lee gave his life to Jesus at the age of twelve, a decision that has guided him for more than three decades. Today, he serves as the Worship Director at Oakdale Church in Olney, Maryland, where he leads the worship ministry with a passion for helping people encounter God’s presence in authentic and transformative ways.
Richard is invited to speak at churches, conferences, and gatherings, with a central message focused on prayer and walking closely with Jesus. This past year, he traveled to Korea to minister at UBF’s Vision Camp, where he served the children of missionaries by leading them in worship and encouraging them to grow in faith and experience God’s love. Whether on stage or in smaller settings, he carries a genuine desire to inspire deeper intimacy with Christ.
Alongside ministry, Richard has worked as a public school teacher for the past 26 years, investing in his students’ lives through both academics and authentic relationships.
He and his wife have been joyfully married for 21 years and are raising three wonderful children who, as Richard often says, are “growing up too quickly.” Through every role, Richard seeks to glorify Christ and help others walk more closely with Him.
Sam has lived in 4 different states and 14 different cities/towns in his short life, but he considers NJ his spiritual home and the Northeast Corridor as his mission field.
He has been in ministry for over 20 years, and specifically has a heart for revival, worship/prayer, and those hurt by the Church.
He is currently leading a house of prayer in NJ.
He is married to his beautiful wife, Minji, and they have 2 sons, Elijah (8 yrs old) and Enoch (6 yrs old).
